- Damir is asked to be part of Jury for Award for Best Youth Director on Days of Croatian Film. He will be in Jury with his colleges, great film directors Mrs. Tiha Gudac and Mrs. Dalia Dozet. Thanks Croatian Board of Film Directors for this pleasure.

- Damir repeated on meeting of Croatian Movie Filmmakers his initiative about need for making Directors and Movie Club based first of all on educational program not on drinks and food
- Damir finished final version of screenplay for documentary Big cleaning
FEBRUARY 2017.
- Damir is finishing 5th version of his screenplay for documentary Big cleaning.
- Damir was on meeting of National Croatian Film Directors Guild
- Damir is part of iniciative of Artist, film directors, producers called PUK'O NAM JE FILM fighting for freedom and against political control of Croatian Audiovisual Fond (HAVC).
- Croatian National TV will release Damir Janečeks documentary serial Urban Gardening. Serial has 12 episodes. Damir is full author of idea and concept of the show. He wrote screenplay and directed each episode. First one will be shown on Saturday Marth 18thon 1th program of National TV service (HRT) 3:40 PM (Central European Time). Reprise is on Sunday. Enjoy!
